Generator AND Pellet stoves installed to perfection
I put this review on Google Reviews also.Blue Ridge HVAC installed a Lowes-purchased whole-house generator for me about 6 months ago. I purchased a floor-model (demo) pellet stove from them just a few weeks ago, along with a pallet of pellets. The whole-house generator works great, kicks on for self-test every week, and has run once during a power outage flawlessly. The installation was very clean and they coordinated with my propane company on their own. ZERO hassle for me, no call-backs and I couldn't be happier. Now comes the pellet stove. The installation was beautiful and perfect, and they even off-loaded my pellets in a shed for me. I was thrilled. However, in the second time starting the stove, it would not work right. Error messages all over. I called Blue Ridge, and 2 fellows came out the next morning, spent had to go for parts, but got it going again. Fine. It worked for 2 days, quit working (lots of the same odd error codes) and again they came right out the next day. This time they traced it to a little safety switch on the door which might have been (probably was!) the issue all along. This time is working. And working. Obviously no charges for these call-backs. This kind of thing can happen to these delicate things on installation, and it survived the initial self-tests at installation and after the repairs, so I did not fault Blue Ridge. They stood behind their product, again, a floor model sold at a discount, all smalls. We could not be happier with the company, and I am pleased to report that the negative posts are not universal, and this real double-customer will go back to them for my HVAC work without question.
Blue Ridge Heating and Air kept my 45 year old heating and cooling system going until parts were no longer available. I always took advantage of their twice yearly "check-up" specials. This year they installed a new Trane system for me which is totally efficient and quiet. I found Blue Ridge Heat & AC to be completely honest and trustworthy.I love those folks!
I recently relocated to Charlotte and had sold my home in the NRV. I received news at 4:20pm from my realtor that my AC stopped working the day before I was scheduled to close on my home. I was almost three hours away and the team at Blue Ridge Heating & Air had a maintenance tech out to my home by 5:00pm and had resolved the issue by 1:00pm the next day. I have never used Blue Ridge before, I always used the company that originally installed my unit for any maintenance/repairs. I am SO appreciative they were able to help me out on such short notice and understood that this was a pressing issue. A huge high five to the staff at Blue Ridge Heating and Air. I have raved about them to everyone I know. You guys rock!!! Thanks again for helping me divert a huge catastrophe!
We came home from being out at the river, to a house hotter than outside. We contacted our land lord who in return contacted Blue Ridge Heating & Air. Contact with Blue Ridge H&A was made around 8:30pm on a Saturday. William who was on a job in Floyd County said he would make it out to us in Giles County tonight. William showed up at 11:00pm and had the problem diagnosed and repaired in under 30min. Replaced 2 parts and we're going to have a great night sleep. Thank you Will and thank you BR H&A!

Great professional job done by Robert & Tim. The work was done on time and done right. Technicians were very polite, respectful, knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. Blue Ridge Heating and Air will be our ongoing service provider.
